You are my sun

I am your moon

You bring light into my dark world

You make the day bright

You shine so bright you hide me away

Through the month pieces of me are visible

Other times gone for all to see

I shine only because of your light

When I am full and with your light, I light up the whole world even as darkness surrounds us

Even I can light up for you then

Be a brightness in a scary,dark world

But even with your light part of the month I am gone completely

Even your light cant make me shine

Without you my light would cease to exist

No one shall ever see me again

Only the rock, the hard shell that is me.
